AI pipelines for translation and animation
A translation tool with human review, and a pipeline that turns webtoons into animated episodes, for a comics app.
The problem
For a comics platform, translation and animation work grows with every new title.
What we built
- A translation tool that follows the glossary and character notes, with a person confirming every line. A non-engineer on the team built the first version in two days, and about 90% of its translations were accepted as-is.
- An animation pipeline from webtoon panels to storyboards, video, voices and edit
- Quality checks at each stage, with a record of every retake
Where the time went
We spent more time designing for character consistency and quality checks than on generation itself.
