A sales assistant that helps customers choose tires
A chat assistant that asks about the car, tire size and priorities, recommends two or three products from the store’s own catalog, mentions current campaigns and records the lead.
The client’s name is withheld under our confidentiality agreement.
The problem
The right tire depends on the car, the size, and what the driver cares about: comfort, fuel economy, budget. Explaining that to every customer takes staff time, and questions after hours went unanswered.
What we built
- A guided conversation that asks for the car, size and priorities, then recommends two or three products, only from the store’s own catalog
- Mentions of running campaigns where they’re relevant
- Lead details captured from the conversation and handed to staff
- An admin screen where staff edit the assistant’s guidance, persona and campaigns
- A chat UI that handles Japanese input properly, with no accidental sends while converting text
Grounded in the store’s catalog
Recommendations come from the store’s catalog data, so the assistant never suggests something the store can’t sell. Questions it can’t answer go to staff.
